Deleting your data

Last updated: 15 August 2026

There are three levels, from narrowest to broadest. Pick the one you need.

1. Cut our access to an Instagram account

In Kiut, open Channels and choose Disconnect on the account. The stored access token is revoked immediately and we stop reading anything from that account — posts, comments and messages included.

You can do the same from Instagram's side, which works even if you cannot sign in to Kiut: Settings → Apps and websites → Kiut → Remove.

2. Delete the content of one account

Disconnecting stops new data from arriving but keeps what was already collected, so your history survives if you reconnect later. To erase it — posts, engagement, comments, mentions and messages of that account — write to us and say which account.

3. Delete your whole Kiut account

Removes everything: your email, every connected account, every post and all engagement and message data. This cannot be undone.

Write to privacidade@kiut.app from the email address on the account, saying what you want deleted. We confirm within 30 days.

What we cannot delete

Posts already published to Instagram belong to your Instagram account, not to Kiut — delete them in Instagram. We also keep, for a limited period, records required to investigate abuse or to comply with the law; these never include your content.

See also the Privacy Policy, which describes what we store and why.
